Finder’s Fee Agreement
The Fairmont Community Development Partnership (FCDP) is offering selected Realtors a $1,000 fee for referring potential homebuyers who: 1. Meet prescribed income limits, and 2. Purchase a home from the FCDP within 16 months of the referral.
Step 1 - Participating agents are provided a referral brochure which they complete with the potential client (homebuyer) to identify the referring agent and the potential buyer. The FCDP will be willing send any needed brochures to your office.
Step 2 -The potential homebuyer completes the homebuyer application with a FCDP staff member. Participating agents will be notified that the referred client has registered with the FCDP as a potential home buyer.
Step 3 - The client completes a homebuyer education program by participation in an intake interview, credit counseling, and by establishing that they are suitably financially reliable at a level where they can be awarded credit.
Step 4 - The client purchases any of the homes being sold by the FCDP.
Step 5 - The referring agent is notified of the purchase and is awarded $1,000.
